Sedley’s Church of England Primary School 

We are a small, four-class, village school tucked away in Southfleet. Our school was founded in 1637 by Sir John Sedley and remains at the heart of the community, we have been extended numerous times, but the original school building and even the air raid shelter are still used!

SIRG (Southfleet Independent Retirement Group)

We are an independent retirement group for the over 50`s and we have monthly meeting with speakers.

We have various functions such as Lunch Clubs, Coach outings, Theatre Visits, Card afternoons, Bowls (indoors and outdoors), Ten Pin Bowling and Quizzes etc.

We meet on the second Wednesday of every month at Southfleet Village Hall at 2 p.m.

Southfleet Women’s Institute

Our Group has been thriving at the village hall for 75 years and are still going strong! We meet at 7.30pm every second Monday in the month and enjoy a variety of speakers and activities followed by the traditional cake with tea or coffee. We have regular monthly walks, craft mornings, theatre, cinema, ladies wot lunch and round off the year with our Christmas panto/party/sketches when we allow the men to join us! New members are very welcome to join us or come along as a visitor and try us out! St Nicholas Church consists of a wide range of different people, from all ages and different backgrounds. Whoever you are you are assured a very warm welcome here at St Nicholas.

Southfleet Active Retirement Group

SouthARA is a voluntary organisation affiliated to Kent Active Retirement Association which was formed in 1998 with the aim of promoting a more positive attitude towards ageing for retired and semi retired over the age of 50. SARA have regular monthly meetings with guests speakers and weekly activities including short mat bowls, curling and green bowls. For further information contact the secretary on 01474 328994
